Guided by three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—#2 Zero Hunger, #11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, and #12 Responsible Consumption and Production—we are on a mission to reduce our carbon footprint and innovate for a better future.
- Clean Energy: Collaborating with Bloom Energy, we’ve reduced carbon emissions by nearly 1 million pounds annually with solar-powered systems, and upgraded servers now offset 330,000 lbs of CO2 each year.
- Recycling Initiatives: Ramar Foods has eliminated and no longer uses cooking oil for production; we only use minimal cooking oil for product testing purposes. 100% of used cardboard boxes are sent to the recycling plant.
- Waste Reduction: Ramar Foods sends 100% of our organic wastes to the city composting facility.
