Add a sweet-savory twist to Picadillo with plantains and fried eggs for a dish that’s both hearty and elegant.
Ingredients
- Picadillo prepared as above
- 3 plantains saging na saba, sliced and fried
- Eggs fried sunny side up
- 1 tbsp Spanish paprika
- 1/4 cup raisins
- Rice
Instructions
- Mix raisins and paprika into the prepared Picadillo.
- Serve Picadillo over rice, pressing into a bowl for shape if desired.
- Top with fried egg and serve plantains on the side.
