Honey Calamansi Cupcakes
Ingredients
Cupcake
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 5 sachets Manila Gold Pure Calamansi
Frosting
- 3 tbsps butter softened
- 2 sachets Manila Gold Pure Calamansi
- 1 tsp milk or more as needed
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
Instructions
Cupcake
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Mix milk and Manila Gold pure calamansi together in another bowl, set aside.
- Cream butter and honey for 2-3 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix well
- Add in milk mixture and flour mixture
- Mix until well blended, don't over mix.
- Scoop in non stick muffin pans.
- Bake in preheated 350 degrees Farenheit for 18 - 23 minutes
- cool down cupcakes before frosting
Frosting
- Beat butter, calamansi and milk together until smooth
- Beat confectioners sugar into butter mixture until desired consistency is reached.
- Frost your cupcakes
