Longsilog: The Breakfast Classic
Transform your mornings with this Filipino breakfast staple! It combines browned longanisa, garlic fried rice (sinangag), and eggs (itlog) for a hearty and satisfying start to the day.
Ingredients
- Magnolia Skinless Vigan Longanisa
- 2 cups cooked rice cold
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- Eggs fried sunny side up or scrambled
- Salt pepper, and oil
Instructions
- Brown the Vigan Longanisa in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- To make sinangag, sauté garlic in 1 tbsp oil until fragrant. Add rice, sprinkle water, and stir fry. Season with salt to taste.
- Fry eggs as desired.
- Plate with longanisa, sinangag, and eggs. Serve with tomato salad or banana ketchup.
