Pan-Seared Bangus
Ingredients
- 1 medium sized bangus sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tsp vetsin or MSG
- cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
- Season bangus with salt and pepper, and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through.
- In a pot, mix together soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and bay leaves
- Add bangus and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the fish cooked through and tender
