Pork Longanisa Topped with a Marinated Seaweed Salad on Sliced Sourdough

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pkg Orientex Brand Sweet Pork Longanisa, Fully Cooked Hamonado
  • 6 slices Sourdough Bread
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Chimichurri Sauce
  • 3-6 ea Serrano Peppers grilled
  • 2 cups Wakame Salad
  • 3 cups Fresh Baby Spinach

Chimichurri Sauce

  • 1/2 bun Cilantro cleaned
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Garlic chopped
  • 3/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 4 pkgs Calamansi Manila Gold Brand
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper

Wakame Seaweed Salad

  • 1 cup Wakame Seaweed fresh
  • 1/2 bun Green Onions chopped
  • 3 ea Roma Tomatoes
  • 3 ea Serrano Peppers chopped
  • 2 ea Limes fresh squeezed
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper

Instructions
 

Chimichurri Sauce

  • Add all into a blender and mix until smooth

Wakame Seaweed Salad

  • Mix all together and refrigerate for one hour before use

Preparation Instructions

  • Score the sausages and bake in a pre-heated 350°F oven for 15 minutes
  • then spread the mayonnaise on each slice of bread
  • top with the Chimichurri sauce
  • add the heated sausages on top of each bread and then top with the spinach
  • Bake the entire sandwich for an additional 5 minutes
  • Remove from oven and top each open face sandich with the seaweed salad
